MycoSci is a startup based out of Santa Cruz, California, on a mission to use the healing powers from mushrooms to make health & wellness accessible to all. We worked with them at the infancy of their brand, creating a brand strategy that could be carried out across digital, packaging, social and beyond.
As new company in the market, we wanted to design a brand system that allowed MycoSci to feel trusted and sophisticated for the B2B audience, while inspiring consumers to live their best life with the help of innovative mushroom supplements.
Paid Social Ads
In order to educate potential customers on the benefits of MycoSci mushrooms, we created paid ads that combined lifestyle photography with product benefit callouts. Quizzes were also used to educate consumers on the various benefits of functional mushrooms.
Customer Testimonials
For a new brand, customer testimonials matter! In order to validate MycoSci products, we created ads that included 5-star customer reviews that accompanied lifestyle brand photography.
Recipe Content
To show the breadth of ways customers could cook with MycoSci mushrooms, we worked with chef content creators to create delicious recipe videos, which we release on social. These videos would then link to product detail pages, which would also promote these recipes.
Shopify Website Design & Dev
As a way to market the brand online, tell inspiring customer stories, and take advantage of the latest and greatest e-commerce capabilities, we designed and developed the MycoSci website on Shopify's 2.0 platform.
